Conversation Starters

Conversation Starters To Die For

What are some good conversation starters when talking to a girl you like?

Whenever I talk to this girl (She sits next to me on the bus), I always find myself unable to think of anything good to talk about, which leads to awkward silences…Can somebody help me out? Thanks!

Start talking about a TV show that other girls you know watch, like Glee. Everyone loves to talk about Glee. Or maybe she hates it and wants to talk about that!

    1) Hello! What are you thinking about?

    2) Do you like buses? I sure do.

    3) Do you think this bus will crash? I’m a little worried.

    4) What would you do if you had moments to live?

    5) Do you want to know what I am thinking about?

ask her what she likes to eat, what she likes to watch, if she likes pets does she have any, what she do for summer vacation or christmas, have any brothers or sisters, where she is from, has she ever travelled anywhere…many infinite questions

find out what she likes, what shes into, and talk about that.
I know i’d love it if a guy made an effort to find out what i liked…and if i like it, it means ill talk about it for a fair long while – which means no silences:-D

compliments are good:) and sometimes get conversations going, or books, I find books as a good one too, gives you a topic, if she hasnt read it you can make up stuff, which i wouldnt recomend it but sometimes works, AND it makes you look smart;D

Popular TV shows are always good? It s freezing outside you can always converse how numb your toes and fingertips are from waiting for the bus!!!! or you can simply simply just say "hey what’s up? how are you?" that’s probably the best advice and chances are,,,if there s an awkward silence coming from her end too….she s probably feeling the exact same way as you;) good luck

Current events are good. If you use sarcasm a lot that helps so you won’t offend her

just say hi when she gets on the bus, she will probably say hi back and it will sart a conversation. please dont use one of those pick up lines cuz that usually turns people off XD. Just be nice to her and she will notice u and will be comfortable around u so she would probably start the convos when u have nothing to say
    hope this helped ;)

compliment her on a specific thing about her appearance. the more specific the better. if that doesn’t get the conversation moving, ask her about her day or the day before.
for the unexpected, perhaps saying you hate when you can’t think of things to talk about because of the awkward silences that ensue

music is the best topic for me i suppose maybe bring something yalll could listen to- headphones to share and compliment her. always have self connfidnece little boy and that will get you ahead in sports or with girls or grades or w/ other kids in school. you could also talk about something cool you did like going out of town or seeing a cool movie. Showing that you have friends and like artsy stuff is relatable. if ur young and not on a diet ask about her fav. restaurants that she has been to and tell her which ones you like. just try not to be negative think about sounding nice.
