What are some good conversation starters on a first date?
I’m going on a date with a guy I met on a dating site tonight. The thing is he lives 2 hours away and is driving to where I live to see me. That’s a long drive I’m so nervous I hope I meet his expectations because he’s coming all this way. We were going to meet half way but that fell through and since I don’t have a license someone would have had to drive me halfway. We are meeting to see a movie at a theatre at the local mall over here.
I guess a lot depends on how much conversation was done before you guys decided to meet at the movies. I always found it great to see a woman interested in me and what things I like to do. What ever you do, don’t be all like, how are you? oh thats cool? that sounds fun..
conversations like that are lame. Talk about stuff. Bring up a funny story of you and your girl friends getting into trouble. Don’t be all valley girl saying LIKE a thousand times!

I’m a very shy person and often don’t know how to approach a person I want to talk to. What are some good conversation-starters to get a conversation started?
Ask their opinion on SOMETHING. This will take the pressure off you for a while, and you can gaze at them ATTENTIVELY while you try to find something in their answer to give you another QUESTION to ASK.
After 3 or 4 questions, they will ask YOU a question. Now you’re having a conversation!
Topics to ask about:
1. The Weather.
2. Favorite foods/vegetable/dessert.
3. Complementary colors to wear (for them or for yourself).
4. Favorite artist/artworks.
5. Favorite cities or countries.
6. Best weekend this past month or year.
7. Favorite or least favorite vacation taken or vacation spot.
8. Good things to say in job interviews.
9. Nice present ideas to buy for mom or dad.
10. Like dislike (jazz, pop, classical, country) music and why.
conversation starters?
i have a ::said boy:: and sometimes he is just soo out of it, i want to have a good conversation with him and he is making that nearly impossible! what are some good starters? i want to get to know him more and get him to trust me, how do i do that?

What are some casual conversation starters?
I want to start a conversation with this guy! How do I do it? We have classes together but we’re both pretty shy/quiet.
You could ask him for help with something that could give you an opening. Other than that you could ask to study with him. If you have classes together try talking about the class, its something you can both relate to.

Ok, what are some conversation starters to start with when talking to a 13 year old boy? I have allot of trouble finding out what to say. I usually sit there trying to think of what to say or start off with. So can you help me?
well if theyre on a sports team ask them how their last game went or when their next one is. or compliment them on sumthing theyre wearing but be honest dont compliment sumthing u dont actually like.
